Bilingual German–English portal for ordering academic texts, with live price estimates, Adyen milestone payments and automatic author matching.
The goal was to digitise and automate an academic writing business: requirement gathering, pricing, author matching and payments in one system. We built the order funnel, dashboards for customers and authors, and an admin panel that runs the whole process.
Responsive designs for desktop and mobile in German and English: a short “how it works” story on the home page, a three-step checkout, a dashboard where every order shows its milestones as a progress line, and a separate recruiting page for authors.
The order funnel collects the paper type, subject, language, pages, deadline, topic, instructions and attachments and recalculates the estimated price on every change. Orders are split into milestones that are paid one by one; after prepayment the system offers the order to a matching author and passes it on if it is not accepted within 24 hours.
Payments run through an Adyen integration, so customers from any country pay each milestone online by card or PayPal. Admins approve authors, set the final price of large orders, define the minimum order value, assign or reassign authors and check every result; email notifications cover approvals, new orders and payments.
A three-step checkout — order, payment, submit. The estimated price updates with every parameter and with the fast / good / cheap priority; the admin confirms the final price.
The process page walks customers through every step, each one illustrated with the real interface: defining requirements, setting milestones, submitting and approving the order.
Every order shows its milestones as a progress line — approved, finished, to pay, pending — with paid and outstanding amounts, the deadline, the author and a rating. Remaining milestones can be cancelled or the author changed.
Each milestone is paid on its own through Adyen and starts the next part of the work. Before delivery every text is checked for plagiarism, and the results are ready to download.
A separate page for authors with an application form: languages, paper types and subjects, a motivation letter, CV, work samples and certificates. Admins approve or reject every application.
Guarantees, key figures and the accepted payment methods, with content and sliders editable in the admin panel.
