UI/UX DESIGN
A clean top-menu layout with two entry points — Lists and Documents — so staff reach any of 27 screens in two clicks. Dense, searchable tables for daily work, the store shown in the header and a full-screen mode for the counter.
CMT EMS is the enterprise management system that Turn designed and built for CMT Group’s stores: stock, sales, purchases from the factory, colour tinting, cash and expenses in one web application.
CMT Group’s stores needed one system for the whole daily routine — from selling paint and tinting colours to paying the factory and the staff. We designed and built a web application where every operation is a document, and every document shows up in the stock, cash and account reports.
A clean top-menu layout with two entry points — Lists and Documents — so staff reach any of 27 screens in two clicks. Dense, searchable tables for daily work, the store shown in the header and a full-screen mode for the counter.
Seventeen document types cover the store’s operations: cash and credit sales and returns, purchases from and returns to the factory, colour tinting, receipts from the factory, cash in and out, expenses, staff advances and salaries, and invoice and document transfers.
Ten lists show stock balances, daily sales, receipts and issues, and stock, account, cash, staff and expense movements. The stock list holds more than 3,600 products with barcodes, prices and balances
A day at the counter in one report: cash and credit sales, number of receipts and the average receipt on top, every document below — with type, customer and cashier.
Products are added by barcode or name; quantities, prices, the discount and the total are calculated as the cashier types.
Pick the base paint, the volume and a RAL colour — the pigment recipe and the price are calculated, and recent tints stay at hand for repeat orders.
Every sale, return, factory payment, expense and staff advance moves the cash balance, shown line by line with income, outgoings and the running total, and exported to Excel.
More than 3,600 products with barcode, name, price and balance — searchable, with 50, 100 or 200 rows per page.
Ten lists and seventeen document types are grouped in two menus, so every screen is two clicks away; each document has its own form.
Staff sign in with their own account and work in the context of their store, which is shown and switched in the header.
